In 1841, Robert Clay (Surveyor), his wife Charlotte Godolphin Clay (nee Cobbe)
and their son Robert Richard Clay, Surgeon, lived nearby and probably worshipped here.
Living with them was Elizabeth Catherine Hammond, Widow of Charlotte's younger brother
Marshall Godolphin Cobbe, buried at St. Paul's, Deptford
