Lt. Col Richard Chaloner Cobbe married
Mary Godolphin here, 23rd November 1726

Their granddaughter Frances Cobbe
married Hans Francis Hasting.

In 1819, with the help of Irish Lawyer, Nugent Bell,
Hans recovered the Earl of Huntingdon title to make the
couple, 11th Earl & Countess of Huntingdon

Sadly, Frances enjoyed no more than about
one year as Countess. She died shortly after
being delivered of her 10th child, in March 1820

She was buried as Countess of Huntingdon
at St. John, Hampstead on 8th April 1820.
A search for her grave not successful.

Hans remarried, but died, in Ireland,
9th December 1828 aged 50 years.

Their descendents survive to this day
